Owner and sole artist of the Fake Gallery in Los Angeles for 14 years, Paul Kozlowski gathered a cult following among various Hollywood celebrities along with many regular people.

Stand up comedian and writer for The Chris Rock ShowThe Jon Stewart ShowMr. Show and The Ellen DeGeneres Show among others, and actor whose movie credits include Shakes the Clown and Punchline, Kozlowski accidentally entered the art world when he opened a performance venue in Hollywood. In order to evade the red tape of opening a theater or cabaret, Paul registered the venue with the city as an art gallery and then quickly filled the walls with works that he made sure looked so much like art, you couldn’t tell the difference.
